I haven't upgraded yet, but version 2.0 will export to NN-XT format. With version 1.5, i save the patch as an exs24 instrument, then import the samples separately. It still save tons of time. As far as sample edit/looping applications for MacOS X go, I don't know of any that come close to what kmp is capable of. As far as random assignments go, you might want to arrange the zones so that they take advantage of the ALT zone feature so that each time a key is pressed, a different zone is selected.
