This is a selection of tracks produced over the last few years. A variety of tools including hardware as well as software (especially Reason) were used to produce these works. It’s hard to categorize what I create, and consistency is not something I’ve mastered. There’s no CD or upcoming releases slated. Just download for free and listen. Cirobiq.mp3
A recent Reason track i’ve been working on through most of 2005. Not necessarily one of my best (honestly)! It employs several new combinator systems that create real time delay effects for chopping up a track, and some frequency response modulation patches that fatten up the sound.
Cercophracta
A Remix of Peter Gabriel’s Shock the Monkey, produced primarily in Reason with vocals processed with Melodyne Studio running as the rewire host. The element of the original song were processed with ReCycle and tweaked with Dr.REX loop players. The vocal track has been pitched down a few semitones and time stretched to fit the 125BPM tempo. Experimental Max/MSP Composition based on DNA Sequences. DNA data is sorted into combinations of amino acids. Then values are calculated to determine the pitch and tempo and stereo rotation.
